Run for Robin 2026: A Nantucket Tradition That Gives Back
One of Nantucket’s most meaningful fall traditions returns on Sunday, November 22, 2026, as the community gathers in ‘Sconset for the 12th Annual Run for Robin 5K. This beloved event brings together runners, walkers, families, and friends to celebrate the life and legacy of Robin Harvey while supporting the Harvey Foundation’s ongoing commitment to island youth.
Established in 2015 in memory of Robin Harvey, a beloved Nantucket community member who tragically lost her life while training for the Boston Marathon, the Run for Robin has grown into a cherished island tradition. Over the past 11 years, more than 6,000 participants have taken part, honoring Robin’s memory and the spirit of community that continues to inspire the event.
Supporting the Nantucket Community
Beyond bringing islanders together, the Run for Robin serves as a major fundraiser for the Harvey Foundation, which supports education, athletics, and community service on Nantucket. Over the years, the foundation has awarded more than $175,000 in scholarships to deserving student-athletes pursuing higher education, with much of that funding made possible through this annual event.
