The Nantucket Shorts Festival returns to the Dreamland on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for an evening showcasing the creativity of Nantucket’s local filmmaking community. Presented by Nantucket Community Television (NCTV), the annual festival features a collection of short films ranging from just two to ten minutes in length.
Founded in 2013, the Nantucket Shorts Festival brings together amateur and professional filmmakers to share original stories inspired by Nantucket and its community. Each submission is reviewed by a jury of local artists and filmmakers, with selected films presented on the big screen in the Dreamland’s Main Theater.
