Shop Till You Drop Nantucket 2026: Shop Local and Support Island Youth
Downtown Nantucket will become a shopper’s paradise on Thursday, August 6, 2026, during Shop Till You Drop, a special Summer Groove event benefiting the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. From exclusive in-store experiences to an afternoon afterparty, the event offers a fun way to explore local businesses while supporting an important island organization.
Start at the Shop Till You Drop Welcome Center
The shopping experience begins at the Shop Till You Drop Welcome Center at Nantucket Looms, open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Guests who stop by will receive:
- An exclusive NBGC Summer Groove shopping bag
- A complimentary gift
- A guide to participating retailers and special in-store experiences
The guide will help shoppers make their way through downtown Nantucket and discover the businesses participating in this year’s event.
Special Shopping Experiences Throughout Town
From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., participating Nantucket stores will offer a variety of special promotions and experiences. Shoppers can look forward to refreshments, demonstrations, exclusive offers and other surprises while visiting some of the island’s favorite boutiques and local businesses.
Participating retailers include Nantucket Looms, The Hub, Mitchell’s Book Corner, Jewel in the Sea, Alice Walk, Erica Wilson, Marissa Collections, Hill House, Tuckernuck, J.McLaughlin, Lilly Pulitzer, The Vault Nantucket and many more. Look for the colorful pinwheels displayed outside participating stores as you explore town.
Every Purchase Makes a Difference
Shop Till You Drop is more than an afternoon of shopping. Proceeds from participating retailers will benefit the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, helping the organization provide a safe and supportive place where island youth can learn, grow and belong.
By shopping locally during the event, attendees can support Nantucket businesses while contributing to programs and opportunities for children in the island community.
Complimentary Afterparty at The Boarding House
After an afternoon of shopping, guests are invited to a complimentary afterparty at The Boarding House from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The celebration will feature light bites, cocktails and an opportunity to gather with the businesses and supporters helping create brighter futures for Nantucket’s youth. The afterparty is underwritten by NBGC advocate and Summer Groove Committee member Erin Wilson of Real Estate–Nantucket and Palm Beach.
