Race for Recovery 2026 on Nantucket
Each fall, Nantucket comes together for an event that combines community, movement, and an important cause. The annual Race for Recovery returns to Bartlett’s Farm on Sunday, September 27, 2026, supporting the work of Addiction Solutions of Nantucket and its mission to expand access to treatment and recovery services on the island.
This year’s event offers something for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities—and for 2026, participants can take on a brand-new challenge with the addition of a 10K race.

Running for an Important Cause
Race for Recovery directly supports Addiction Solutions of Nantucket (ASN) and the work of Dr. Tim Lepore and Aline Wommack. Funds raised through the event help support ASN’s mission and Medication-Assisted Treatment on Nantucket.
Beyond fundraising, Race for Recovery provides an opportunity for the community to come together to raise awareness about prevention and treatment, help reduce the stigma surrounding addiction, and celebrate those in recovery.
Every runner, walker, donor, and supporter plays a part in strengthening access to recovery resources here on Nantucket.
Bib Pickup
Participants can pick up their race bibs ahead of the event:
Friday: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at Murray’s Toggery Shop
Saturday: 3:30–5:30 p.m. at Bartlett’s Farm
Bib pickup will also be available before the race on Sunday morning.
