Fisher can’t wait for the 18th annual Nantucket Cold Turkey Plunge 2019! Held on Thanksgiving Day each year, this year it will be on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 to benefit the Weezie Library for Children at the Nantucket Atheneum.

Since the first plunge in 2002, the Cold Turkey Plunge has become an island tradition each year on Thanksgiving morning. Over 1,000 people of all ages take the plunge at Children’s Beach to raise funds for the Weezie Library. Costumes, teams and family participation are all encouraged with prizes awarded. This event brings together the island business community, the local community who love the Weezie Library and those who are visiting and want to have a memorable holiday on Nantucket.
