The 2026 Stargazer Circus Comes to Nantucket
This summer, the Maria Mitchell Association is bringing a little extra magic to Nantucket with the 2026 Stargazer Circus, a family-friendly celebration of wonder, imagination, and discovery.
Held under the big top at Tom Nevers Field, the Stargazer Circus will take place July 24, 25, and 26, 2026, with multiple performances throughout the weekend. Guests can look forward to an unforgettable circus experience inspired by the same spirit of curiosity that defined Maria Mitchell, America’s first professional female astronomer.
Performances will be offered Friday, July 24 at 3 PM and 7 PM, Saturday, July 25 at 3 PM and 7 PM, and Sunday, July 26 at 11 AM and 4 PM. The event is designed for all ages, making it a perfect summer outing for families, visitors, and island residents alike.
More than just a performance, the Stargazer Circus supports the Maria Mitchell Association’s educational mission and Internship Program, helping inspire the next generation of scientists, explorers, and lifelong learners.
