“For twenty-five years, the Nantucket Wine & Food Festival has brought distinguished winemakers and chefs together for a world-class epicurean celebration. 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, this unique setting creates the backdrop for what has become one of the most celebrated events of its kind in the world. Over the course of five days, the island comes alive with prestigious tastings, lunches, dinners and educational seminars. Our luminaries are an extraordinary group of winemakers, chefs, sommeliers and presenters who contribute to the understated elegance of our festival.”

Grape-stompers unite; The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival is an annual four-day wine and food event held on island in mid-May. Featuring wine tastings, seminars, and food pairings, the 2023 Nantucket Wine Festival kicks off on Wednesday night, May 17th. The festival was first held in 1996 and has since become popular among wine enthusiasts, foodies, and Nantucketphiles alike. The festival attracts over 3,000 attendees each year and features over 150 wineries and over 50 restaurants from around the world. Ticket prices range from $60 to $800/Event packages are also available. A link to the schedule is here.

In addition to the wine tastings and food pairings, the festival also includes various events such as wine dinners, celebrity chef demonstrations, and seminars on topics like winemaking, grape growing, and food and wine pairing.

There are also several Grand Tasting events, where attendees can sample wines from different wineries and speak with winemakers and other experts in the industry. The highlight of the event is the Saturday night dinner called La Fête.

The Nantucket Wine Festival is known for its scenic location, with many events taking place in picturesque settings such as beachside venues, historic homes, and local restaurants. The festival also has a charitable aspect, with a portion of the proceeds supporting local Nantucket Island charities.

Overall, the Nantucket Wine Festival is a highly regarded event that celebrates the art of winemaking and the joy of pairing wine with delicious food, all set in the beautiful backdrop of Nantucket Island. So  take a look at ticket options and reach out if we can book you a home for the weekend.
