Please note: As of December 16th, 2020 the Festival of Trees and the Whaling Museum is closed. However, they are extending the dates of the show to run until February 14th, 2021.

Thanks to the Nantucket Historical Association for finding a way to continue these cherished events by opening the museum for extended dates this year. Both Festivals are free to the year-round community thanks to the generous support of the Festival of Wreaths and Trees lead sponsor – the Marine Home Center.

Post-thanksgiving, the entire Whaling Museum gets transformed in celebration of the 27th Nantucket Festival of Trees. This festive winter wonderland celebrates our community with trees crafted from various businesses, organizations and individuals. In 2020, the show will go on from Friday, November 27th through February 14th. Past years have been so spectacular, we recommend visiting the Festival more than once. Here is a link to the NHA’s photo gallery to view last year’s show until you can see it in person.
