Each summer, Weekend at the Library unites the Nantucket community to celebrate and sustain one of the island’s most cherished institutions: the Nantucket Atheneum, the island’s free public library. Thisevent brings together visionary thought leaders, renowned musicians, and celebrated authors for an unforgettable gathering.
From July 17–19, 2025, the Atheneum will host its signature fundraiser — a lively weekend of events that inspire, engage, and provide critical funding for a full year of free programming, resources, and services. This beloved tradition does more than raise funds; it fuels a vital community hub that remains open and accessible to all, year-round.
