The American Red Cross will be holding a two-day blood drive on the island in June.

The drive is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 11, at the VFW Hall, 22 New South Road. Appointments for both days can be made online.

Last fall, Nantucket held its first blood drive in decades. Organizers called it a success, with 71 pints of blood collected. This year’s goal has been raised to 300 pints over two days.
