The Nantucket Yoga Festival is sure to be an unforgettable mid-July weekend for those who practice. Top yoga instructors, wellness experts, and yoga lovers will come together against our island’s gorgeous backdrop to explore peaceful living. What to Expect
Tickets can be purchased here. Opt for a full festival pass which includes admission to Opening Night, or choose a day pass to enjoy yoga workshops on Saturday or Sunday only.
Once you’ve registered, head over to Opening Night at the Westmore club on Friday evening! Here you’ll enjoy dinner courtesy of Chef Bruce Sacino and listen to Dr. Sue Morter’s take on accessing your innate creativity.
On Saturday, workshops begin at 8am at Bartlett’s Farm and run through 5:30pm. Choose from offerings such as Restorative Yoga + Singing Bowls, Complete Core Awakening, Somatic Wisdom Within, and even The Yoga of Writing!
The fun doesn’t stop there. Sunday is another day packed full of workshops from Quieting the Mind to Total Body Rest. End your weekend with a closing ceremony centered around eight singing bowls.
Fisher Tip- The Yoga Festival offers two free community workshops! On Saturday and Sunday morning, rise at 6:30 am to join Larisa Forman in a morning beach meditation.
Instructor Preview
Cat McCarthy
Cat has been practicing since 1993. In addition to certifications in Anusara Yoga and Kripalu Yoga, she has also explored Rajanaka Yoga and Nilankantha Meditation. She’s even an Emmy-nominated filmmaker! Her offerings include The Art and Science of Getting Along and Empathy in Anybody: Yoga & Nonviolent Communication Relate to Feelings and Needs.
Ariel Kiley
As the designer of Equinox Fitness’s Regeneration classes and co-creator of the Dou Yoga 200-hour teacher training, Ariel brings a lot to the table. She is the author of numerous publications on yoga therapy and meditation, as well as an IAYT certified Yoga Therapist. Check out her Somatic Wisdom Within and Dynamic Hip Health workshops!
Lindel Hart
Lindel returns for his eighth year at the Nantucket Yoga Festival. He teaches yoga at Deerfield Academy and has also operated his own studio. He keeps yoga fresh, infusing the practice with compassion, enthusiasm, and humor. Certified by the Kripalu Center for Yoga and more, you’ll be in excellent hands with Lindel. His workshops include Bridges, Not Walls: Backbends From the Ground Up and How’s Your Head, which focuses on easing tension in the neck and shoulders.

The festival is partnered with a number of different vendors to produce a “Carnivale of Creativity” at Bartlett’s Farm. Popular vendors include Lemon Press, the downtown go-to for healthy smoothies and light bites, and the Amare Terra Studio, home of beautiful Henna designs. Lisa Genthner: Born and raised on Nantucket, Lisa recently graduated from Dartmouth College, where she majored in neuroscience and minored in economics. She feels most at home on the water and loves the endless beauty and entertainment it provides. When she’s not assisting with marketing here at Fisher, you can find her working in the pottery studio or catching a sunset from the beach!
