Coming September 30th at 8:00 am, join the Land Bank for their 4th annual Cross-Island Hike! The hike will begin at Sesachacha Pond and will end at Settler’s Landing in Madaket Harbor. 

Land Bank staff members will hike and remain stationed on the route. As hikers move at different paces, Cross-Island Hike markers will help guide people along the way. Depending on where you begin, the hike will last between four to eight hours.

The hike will cover terrain on trails, dirt roads, bike paths, paved roads, and beaches. 

Bring sun-screen, good walking shoes, rain gear (if applicable), insect repellent, lunch, and a water bottle. Fruit snacks and water refills will be provided at checkpoints throughout. Click here to learn more!
