July 2020 data is in and shows that there were 47 real estate transactions totaling $126 million, figures that are 40 percent ahead of both transaction and dollar volume from July 2019. This monthly activity brought year-to-date transaction totals to 170 sales totaling nearly half a billion dollars through the first seven months of 2020. In addition to sales activity, new for-sale inventory also increased during the month with over 100 new listings, many of which went under contract quickly. In fact, contract activity was well ahead of last month and last year’s data, suggesting August sales data should be quite healthy.
