This nearly 7-acre Land Bank parcel just off the rotary and Milestone Rd. has been transformed and features paved paths, picnic tables, and wooden benches for your enjoyment. Take in spectacular and unique views across The Creeks and Nantucket Harbor, or explore the winding path that loops through the expansive property.

Accessible and perfect for all ages and group sizes, this open and preserved space is sure to become a favorite throughout the seasons.

Family Stay-cation Scavenger Hunt

Nantucket Conservation Foundation is hosting its Stay-cation Scavenger Hunt until January 3rd. The Nantucket Land Council’s Winter Wellness Walk series begins in January. Sponsored by Nantucket Land Council, these walks are set to feature a variety of open spaces on one Sunday out of each month through May. Lasting approximately 45 – 60 minutes, each walk will be led by a staff member from a partner organization. Registration is free and required – check out the list of events and sign-up here.

Land Bank Dog Park

Our four-legged friends need variety and excitement too! This long-awaited addition to the Nantucket open-space roster features two separate fenced-in areas: one for small dogs and one for large. This property allows your pup to enjoy off-leash time safely and is an excellent spot for exercise and socialization. Located at the corner of Surfside and Miacomet Rd., the Land Bank Dog Park at 5 Miacomet features 60,000 s.f. of designated dog-friendly space and buckets of tennis balls for their enjoyment!
