Our very own, Brian Sullivan and Erin Wilson, are sponsors of the event. If you want to participate in the race, you can visit their registration page.

Any proceeds from the Race for Open Space event are to be allocated to the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s Land Fund. The Nantucket Conservation Foundation is a privately held non-profit on Nantucket that conserves and protects over 9,000 natural Nantucket areas, relying on donations to do so. They function with the mission to, “assist in the preservation of Nantucket’s character by permanently conserving, maintaining, and managing natural areas and habitats and to encourage an appreciation of and interest in the Island’s natural resources.” The foundation is very active in the community: conducting beneficial research projects, offering trail tours, and managing their many areas to be accessible at all times.
