New Moon Fest – Nantucket Empowering Women

NCTV and its Board of Directors have announced the inception of Nantucket’s newest festival, the NEW Moon Fest – Nantucket Empowering Women. This festival  will shine a spotlight on the voices of women storytellers from around the world with a curated selection of short films. The event is co-chaired by Lisa Getter and Lisa Soeder, luminaries who played pivotal roles in the success of LUNAFEST over past 10 years.

The first annual NEW Moon Fest promises to be an unforgettable experience held at the Siasconset Casino on May 25, 2024. Short film submissions will be accepted  starting on November 15, 2023, via FilmFreeway. In January 2024, tickets will become available for pre-order.

In alignment with NCTV’s mission to empower Nantucket audiences through impactful storytelling and give every Nantucketer a voice, a portion of their programming will be dedicated to submissions received from filmmakers who have ties to Nantucket.
