2024 Summer Reservations – Telephone, Internet and Mail Opening: February 8, 2024 (Starting at 8:00 am)
These openings cover travel from May 15, 2024, through October 20, 2024. They will be using an online waiting room to allow users to be placed in line while waiting to book, and will monitor traffic to the site.
Following the online openings, customers will be able to make summer reservations via the phone and in person at terminals starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

2024 Headstart Program: January 16 (Starting at 7:30 am) to January 22, 2024
On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Headstart customers (who must be qualified island residents enrolled in SSA Excursion and Preferred programs to participate) may make reservations for travel from May 15, 2024 through October 20, 2024 online and via U.S. mail.
Customers may make up to 10 one-way or round-trip reservations during our summer schedule. Up to five of those reservations can be made directly into another person’s name for personal use. Three of the five reservations can be requested as a transferable reservation, which can be transferred to another individual at a later date.

NEW FOR 2024
January 16-17, 2024: Non-Transferable Headstart Reservations – The first two (2) days of Headstart will be exclusively for qualified Preferred or Excursion customer accounts to book reservations for their account only, meaning no transferable reservations or reservations for another person’s account can be booked.
January 18-22, 2024: Transferable & Non-Transferable Headstart Reservations – All reservation bookings, including transferable reservations and booking in another account, can be made.
Online reservations can be made beginning at 7:30 a.m. on January 16, 2024, at www.steamshipauthority.com.
You must have a qualified account number (formerly called a profile number) and PIN or username and customer code to book reservations online.
