If this summer has proven anything it’s that the show must go on. The Nantucket community’s creative solutions have impressed us all summer long. And as the Dreamland’s nostalgic drive-in theater proves, there’s even plenty of fun to be had in your own car!
In that vein, we are so thrilled to announce we’re sponsoring Concerts for Conservation, a drive-in live music series at the scenic Milestone cranberry bog. The concerts will be a fun way to support the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s efforts to keep our island green for generations to come.
Marc Roberge, lead singer of beloved O.A.R., will be the main act, so be sure to brush up on “Love and Memories” and other hits before the date. Weather permitting, you can expect to see folks grooving in the beds of trucks and out of the roofs of Jeeps all day long.
Most importantly, it will be a great way for everybody to come together to keep Nantucket such a special place. Without our island’s conservation groups, we wouldn’t have so many pristine landscapes to enjoy with family, friends, and dogs alike. Can’t wait to see you there!
Be on the lookout for our ticket giveaway on Instagram as well as more concert announcements this summer!
