Nantucket locals, wash-a-shores and tourists alike are all looking for new and creative dining options. We all have our favorite rituals and routines in Town. But here are a few suggestions when you feel the need to escape the busy traffic, hard to find parking, and long wait times at restaurants in Town.

This place is an island gem. Who doesn’t love coffee? You are on Nantucket after all, so jazz it up Nantucket style.  The owner Lynne imports some of the best beans from the far reaches of the world for your morning fix. She has a great line up of delicious treats to pair with your coffee. Roastd also offers the best line up of organic CBD on the island. A great location with plenty of parking – a perfect stop just out of town.

My oh my… who knew a burger could be so scrumptious? Lola Burger is world-renowned and has a legendary following. Don’t be intimidated by the small building at the rotary. Pull in there! The valet service makes things seamless and you will not regret a second order of truffle fries.

Cup of Starbuck Coffee – check. Breakfast sandwiches – check. Fresh rolled sushi – check. Anything you can possibly imagine for your beach grill dining experience – triple-check! “Meat and Fish” has been a great addition to the year-round Nantucket food scene.

Keeper’s is a Nantucket staple. At this special spot, the food is always on point, the service is welcoming and the ambiance makes you feel right at home. Owners Sabrina Dawson and Gavin Norton will always help steer you to the right choice on the menu. You might get some surf intel that only the local locals will know if you ask nicely.

Fusaro’s Restaurant

This is a year-round favorite for local gatherings, meeting up with friends and taking the kids out after a game. You are always greeted with a warm smile to accompany some seriously authentic homemade Italian cuisine. Whether you are dining at the bar for a date night, or sitting on the patio with some friends, Fusaro’s is a great night out.

An Island Tradition. You might have heard the ads on WACKFM 97.7 Nantucket Radio. If that has not motivated you to get in there, what are you waiting for? This place is the best. Get in there, buy 3 of everything and have no regrets!

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee. Getting the island going all year round. Espresso to Go has plenty of parking, is a quick in-and-out and offers yummy treats. The best thing about fall on Nantucket is cranberries, quieter streets and SOUP SEASON! Espresso to Go is a must during soup season. They mean business. Don’t take our word for it, go try it for yourself.

New to the island this summer. 3 scoops is making many a kid very happy, (and lots of moms and dads too). Now you don’t have to schlep into town to get the goods. Try the ice cream sandwich – Yum!

The local bloggers are going crazy about Yezzi’s and this food truck means business. The roast beef is a delight. The Italian sub is mouthwatering perfection. The likes of Nantucket Island have never seen a dining option like this. You can find this truck on Old South Road, and parked at Ack Natural (19 Spearhead Dr). Yezzi’s subs will easily get into your lunch rotation!

Plenty of parking, great service and lots of fun. The outdoor dining on the lawn is a must for families with kids, and the indoor bar is full of friendly locals. When you get your Mexican food craving, Saltbox is the destination. There are lots of menu choices to keep your entire crew happy.

Who doesn’t love the Thai House? When you need take-out for the beach, a tailgate at altar rock, or to just Netflix and chill, give the Thai House a call and you will be very glad you did.

Nantucket’s Cannabis Dispensary Ack Natural is located at 19 Spearhead Dr. It is a 21+ Nantucket cannabis dispensary for adult use and medical cannabis patients. The good news is that they are hosting food trucks daily. All ages are welcome to dine outdoors. The Green Taco Truck, Yezzi’s, Eat Fire Farm Pizza and Snick-Snack (coming soon!). A nice alternative from heading into town.

You might want to start at Ack Natural then make your way back down Old South Road to dine. Just sayin’!
