February 2025 Market Snapshot

“Following on the heels of a very strong start to the year in January, February activity carried the torch.  February transactions totaled 19 properties measuring nearly $80 million in sales, including two property transfers above $10 million. Both the number of sales and the total dollar volume were handsomely higher than both 2023 and 2024 activity.  New contracts also increased from January’s solid start, suggesting the strength in closing activity will continue over the near term.  New listing inventory measured 122 properties, just one property higher than one year ago.  With a higher degree of economic uncertainty in recent weeks, we will see what March brings.  More to come in our full February report… ” Jennifer Shalley Allen
