Cape Air has just announced that they will be adding flight service from JFK to Nantucket starting October 23rd, 2018 and running through mid-May 2019. This is exciting news for the off-season tourist who knows what Nantucket has to offer in the fall, winter and spring. Locals are rejoicing at the idea of escaping to the big city for the weekend. Or perhaps they have an international flight departing from JFK and would rather take a direct connection from Nantucket.
A quick search in October resulted in a fare of $199 one way, but make sure to check their website as rates change throughout the season and by date of travel. Cape Air rates around the holidays are currently listed at $249 one-way.
In addition to Cape Air flying from JFK to Nantucket, JetBlue will continue operating their seasonal service from the April to October. JetBlue rates start at $80 and go up to $665 depending on the day and time of travel.
