The Nantucket Conservation Foundation hosted their first ever Batacular Fall Fun Day, the 60th anniversary of their fall celebration!

This family day of fun fall activities was be held on Sunday October 29th, 2023 from 10am-3pm.

Everyone’s favorite bike race, the Batacular Bike Race, started the day at 10am, followed by local food trucks, a Nanpuppets show, hayrides around the bogs, pumpkin painting, and live music on the grandstand.

During the Batacular Bike Race, contestants speed through beautiful trails for a single loop (8.3 miles) or double loop (16.6 miles). Participants raised funds and awareness for open spaces across the island.
