 A plethora of new stores, food options, and activities have popped up. Check out this list to see what’s new on Nantucket during the summer of 2022! 

Hill House Home – Nap Dress Nation rejoiced when HHH popped-up at 33 Main Street for summer 2022. On July 1st they introduced their Nantucket Exclusive Nap Dress®: The Ellie in Nantucket Red Gingham and Blue Gingham + the Athena in Blue Gingham. All three dresses are available exclusively on Nantucket.

Stoke ACK – A curated surf shop with a vintage vibe and new coffee shop run by familiar face, Megan. Find them on Instagram: @stokeack and @stokeackcoffee

Pip & Anchor – Opened last year as an online shop “farm to people”, similar to a CSA supporting over 100 local and small businesses each week. This year they have opened a retail store at 14 Amelia Drive designed by Audrey Sterk. You can also find the new bakery @slowtorisebakery with cookies & focaccia, with bagels coming soon!

Borobabi is “America’s first circular retail shop” and has opened a pop-up shop at 18 Federal Street. The store sells new clothes which you can return for a 20% credit off new items. Returned, outgrown clothing is mended if needed, and upcycled to their online rental store.

Cisco Beach Food Trucks – Three food trucks received licenses to operate their trucks out at Cisco Beach in 2022. Sushi Sean 1111 (@sushisean1111), Nantaco (@_nantaco) and Nantucket Beach Dogs are all there to make for the perfect Nantucket beach day.

Hatch’s Package Store – Now offers alcohol delivery (for a nominal fee of $20) with some of the best selection and prices on Nantucket.

The Green Market open last year but has expanded their offerings including local, plant-based produce and goods. Their food options include meals to go, baked goods, grocery items, an amazing cheese selection and more. They also offer plants and flowers, clean beauty products and antiques.

Nantucket Bracelets x Nantucket Magic – 2nd generation basket weaver and owner of @nantucketbracelets, Caitlin offers Nantucket bracelet weaving classes where you can weave your own lightship basket bracelet. Each bracelet you make can be customized however you want. This is perfect for a girls trip, birthday party, bachelorette party, or even just something fun to do with your friends. Boston Pops – on Nantucket at Jetties Beach. While it’s not a new event, it is BACK on August 13th with the music of Queen. General admission tickets on sale now and will sell out!

Cisco Trashion Show – August 8th, this is a super fun event that brings to light a big issue on our island – trash. “Raising awareness around conscious consumption and loving our Mother Earth through the creative designs of over 20 makers and 20 local and celebrity models”.

Tidal Creeks Outfitters – A new offering of powerboat and paddle board rentals out of the Tidal Creeks Ship Store located at 32 Washington Street. With hourly, half and full day rental options available we can tailor a rental to meet your needs. @tidalcreeks

Nantaco is Nantucket’s new (and only!) Mexican taco spot. Check out their location on South Water Street for a fun vibe and delicious cuisine.

We can’t wait to welcome the Nantucket Land Rover Series. Placed at the Cisco Brewers back lot, spectators and competitors can look forward to this exciting event!

The Nantucket Historical Association has launched a new Time Traveler’s experience geared toward families, including a printed passport, coloring book, and journal.

For Now – This collaborative shop on Center Street includes apparel by Dudley Stevens and their exclusive turtleneck in the new “Nantucket Sunrise” color.
