We love featuring local Nantucket photographers and are so excited to introduce you to Robin G. London! Robin says, “Hey Nantucket, I’m Robin G. London, a New York washashore, here exactly 1 year now. I made the full-time move Pre-Covid…(before the rest of the state decided to make the move and follow me!) I’m a born and bred New York photographer and production coordinator specializing in both fashion and portraiture. My favorite photographs are my Soulful Pet Portraits which have been exhibited in galleries throughout Westchester County, NY. I was also a fashion stylist at Bloomingdales and Tommy Bahama in NY and a substitute teacher too. In my downtime, I volunteered for both The American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life and New York Pet Rescue. However, from my first steps on the ACK cobblestones back in 1995 I knew Nantucket would one day be my home. I landed a job with Fairwinds—Nantucket’s Counseling Center, and I now live here with my husband John and our three rescue huskies Socrates, Nikita, and Sisco. The light and scenery in Nantucket are so inspiring to me. Anytime I can incorporate photography in my job, or create amazing portraits for people I’m thrilled. Starting a new life in my happy place has proven to me that hard work, determination and countless Nantucket photographs, helped make my dream come true!”
