The story of Next Level Watersports is one of two close friends building a company around doing what they love most: having fun on the water.

Next Level Watersports was started on Nantucket, MA in 2016 by Jake Hoefler and Jon Beery: two best friends who live to push their abilities on the water. From its early beginnings, the company has expanded with additional locations in Stuart, Florida.

A lesson with NLW means you will learn from an instructor who is personable, knows how to rip, is educated in the most effective teaching methods, and views teaching these sports as sharing a gift.

KITEBOARDING QUICK FACTS

WHO CAN LEARN / TARGET AUDIENCE?
Kiteboarding is meant for individuals, groups, and families who are looking for an activity that is active, athletic, and engaging for themselves or their kids. It is a sport that is becoming the “new skiing.” Eligible students range from young kids (minimum weight is 70lbs, age is not a factor) to people in their 70s and 80s. Kiteboarding does not require significant strength and is accessible to pretty much anyone.
We are available to teach 7 days a week. Our lessons are booked in minimum three-hour blocks and are weather/wind dependent.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Clients can learn the full progression of the sport – from the first time on a kite/board to advanced tricks and skills like jumping, riding waves, and hydrofoiling. All required equipment is included in the cost of a lesson.

WHERE WE TEACH?
We coach in the Nantucket Harbor, picking our location to find the flattest, best water based on the wind and weather conditions for the day.

WHEN DO WE GO OUT / HOW LONG?
We are available to teach 7 days a week. Our lessons are booked in minimum three-hour blocks and are weather/wind dependent.

HOW MANY CAN JOIN?

WINGING QUICK FACTS

WHO CAN LEARN / TARGET AUDIENCE?
Winging is the newest sport taking off in the watersports world. With no lines to connect to and a more gentle pull, winging is easier to learn and is the fastest route to self-sufficiency if you’re looking to get out on the water. Smaller kids to older adults can learn to wing easily.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Winging combines two skills: controlling the wing to generate power efficiently and flying on a hydrofoil. Students first learn the dynamics of how a wing works, then combine it with a board, and ultimately learn how to hydrofoil to bring it all together. The learning path is tailored to one’s prior background and skill set.

The eFoil makes learning to hydrofoil dramatically easier so that learning to fly is accessible to pretty much any athletic person.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
We tailor our instruction to beginner through advanced eFoil riding. During a lesson, students will receive a safety briefing to review fundamentals, a gear review to learn how the eFoil works, and cover riding basics to understand first flights, as well as advanced maneuvering and tricks.
