Mark Crosby washed ashore on Nantucket in early 2000, coming from a larger island, England. He got back into photography just a few years later, playing around with film, plastic cameras and modern technology, alternative film processing and Polaroids, Mark has been photographing the people and the Island he now calls home, ever since.

He worked as a time lapse photographer on the Sankaty lighthouse move for the British TV show, Monster Moves. Scroll to the bottom of this blog post to watch the episode. Since 2010, Mark has concentrated on wedding and portrait photography alongside his wife, Zofia Crosby. While working mostly in digital, Mark still favors medium format film and his Hasselblad for personal work.
