Getting To and From: Nantucket Airlines
There’s no faster way to arrive at our island’s beautiful shores than by air. Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK), the second busiest airport in the Massachusetts, offers an ever growing number of airlines to choose from. We’ve outlined them here for your convenience!

Year-Round Nantucket Airlines
Cape Air operates out of ACK year-round, and it’s your go to for the quick 30 minute flight between Nantucket and Hyannis. For city dwellers, their Boston to Nantucket service is also popular. Or if you’re looking to island hop, fly from Nantucket to Martha’s Vineyard in 20 minutes!
Nantucket Airlines, a division of Cape Air, flies exclusively between Nantucket and Hyannis. Furthermore, with fares as low as $59 each way, this can be a great alternative to our ferry services for those who just can’t wait to arrive!
Seasonal Nantucket Airlines
Jet Blue operates seasonal services to and from Nantucket- it’s an ideal option if you’re looking for a non-stop connection between Nantucket and New York City (JFK) or Nantucket and Boston. Busy commuters can pop over for the weekend from either of these destinations and arrive in about an hour! Jet Blue also operates a ~2 hour service between Nantucket and Washington D.C. (DCA), with a brief layover in Boston.
Delta is your connection between Nantucket and New York City (LGA), getting you to your destination on a non-stop flight in about an hour and a half. Note that this route is only offered on select days of the week. So expect to depart New York on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and return to New York on a Sunday!
American provides non-stop services between Nantucket and Washington D.C. (DCA), as well as service between Nantucket and New York (LGA) with a layover in D.C. If you’re looking to escape the heat of the South, check out American’s non-stop service between Charlotte and Nantucket on select days of the week. Expect to depart Charlotte on a Tuesday or Nantucket on a Saturday.
If you’re looking to fly between Newark and Nantucket, you’ll want to hop on a United flight. Services operate daily, and you’ll be connected to your destination on a non-stop flight in just an hour and a half.
