If you live on Nantucket year-round, you’ve probably heard a lot of questions about living 30 miles out to sea. “You live here in the winter? Do you have cable tv? Do the boats run? What do you do for fun?”
And one of our favorites, “Are restaurants open in the winter on Nantucket?” Thanks to some dedicated establishments and staff, we can proudly say yes! We counted 46 food purveyors open this winter and included any with dine-in, take-out, or delivery options.
It’s challenging to keep track of when these restaurants close down for the winter, if at all. Many will take a short break from Christmas to New Year, while others will close for February school vacation week.
We made a list for easy reference when you are in the mood to be wined and dined, want to pick up a quick lunch, or would like an easy dinner delivered to your home.
