Celebrating the 50th year!


50th Annual NISDA Sandcastle and Sculpture Contest July 26th 2025 1–4 pm at Jetties Beach Nantucket – Rain Date July 27th. A CLASSIC SUMMER EVENT: Join with your family and friends. NISDA founded this event in 1975, and today the Sandcastle Contest is co-sponsored by NISDA and the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce. Join them for a fun filled afternoon at Jetties Beach creating glorious sandcastles and sand sculptures – perhaps a magnificent mermaid, sea creature, giant guitar or an awesome car!
