“The 2021 Nantucket Real estate seems to be picking up right where it left off in December.  Monthly sales volume for January and February tallied more than $100 million each period, representing among the highest figures for these months in island history.  While new contract activity remains very healthy, it will be interesting to see how long this trend can continue given island inventory levels continue to be at record lows.  As of February 28, 2020, for-sale property inventory was down 47 percent from one year ago and 17 percent from one month ago.  Like many markets across the US, the only constraint on the market will be a dearth of properties for sale.” Jennifer Shalley Allen
