Saddle up for a rip-roaring wild west adventure Nantucket style! This year, the Maria Mitchell Association is wrangling a one-of-a-kind experience that’ll transport you to the heart of the Nantucket Frontier.

Pull your wagon up to the Stargazer Saloon, where you’ll sip ranch water and smooth whiskey sours while enjoying the flavors of an Island Kitchen fireside feast and the beat of the Ben Allen Band.

Explore the frontier and test your grit on the mechanical bull, try your hand at Texas Hold ‘Em, design a custom cowboy hat with Gigi Pip, and create a customized poem with Typewriter Rodeo—just mind the roving Sheriffs!

Every dollar raised directly supports their 650 annual public programs and summer Internship Program. These initiatives inspire a lifelong passion for science by engaging learners of all ages in education, research, and first-hand exploration of Nantucket’s sky, land, and sea.
