A LEED-certified Research & Education Center on Nantucket

The Milestone Center Nantucket is the newest project from the Nantucket Conservation Foundation, set in the heart of the Milestone Cranberry Bog. This eco-friendly facility will be a hub for environmental research, education, and community engagement—helping to protect and celebrate the island’s natural beauty.

Inside the Milestone Center Nantucket, you’ll find a research lab, native plant greenhouse, and flexible gathering spaces for lectures, workshops, and events. Outside, visitors can enjoy native gardens, educational landscapes, and access to trails that connect directly to Nantucket’s stunning Middle Moors.
