Take-It-or-Leave-It (TIOLI)

188 Madaket Road

tioli nantucket

Okay, hear us out, this spot is renowned. Take-it or Leave it’s mission is to reduce landfill waste by giving residents access to reusable items and keeping usable goods out of the trash. Set just past the landfill (yes, really), this open-air exchange invites locals to drop off furniture, books, kitchenware, and clothing they no longer need. The joy here is in the randomness; you might walk away with a vintage tennis racquet, a hand-painted tray, or a lamp that needs just a new shade and a little love. There are no prices and no pressure. Bring your creativity, and keep an open mind.
