Brant Point is home to the iconic Brant Point Lighthouse, which welcomes residents and visitors year round as the ferries enter Nantucket Harbor. The station was established in 1746 and the current tower was built in 1856. As of 1987, Brant Point Lighthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
