Swim Across America Nantucket
Swim Across America began as a relay swim from Nantucket to Hyannis in the 1980s and has evolved to 20 open water swims and dozens of pool swims around the country. Swim Across America’s mission is to unite the swimming community by hosting benefit swims that raise money to fund life saving research and clinical trials. On Nantucket, they raise money to bring world-class services to Nantucket to provide on-island cancer treatment and patient care. All of the net proceeds from the Nantucket Swim support the Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH) Oncology Program and Palliative & Support Care of Nantucket (PASCON).
Swim Across America Nantucket’s annual swim is held at Jetties Beach in August. Choose from 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile or Kids’ Splash options or take part in the 4 mile distance swim! Fisher Real Estate is a proud sponsor of Swim Across America Nantucket.
