Daffodil and Fisher… A Perfect Marriage

Nantucket Living

While it is hard to choose with all of the incredible events and festivals held here on Nantucket; Daffodil Festival is easily my favorite weekend of the year. The festival is held by the Chamber of Commerce and has grown significantly in the last few decades adding lectures, contests, exhibitions, and shows. While the growth is exciting, it is the simplicity of how the festival began 30 plus years ago with an antique car parade and tailgating in Sconset that I love the most.

Our location for the parade and announcements in town could not be beat. With bubbles and sweet and savory treats on hand we opened our doors to clients, friends, and colleagues. The energy in the office was contagious and we so enjoyed showcasing our beautifully renovated space in our top notch location. While it has not been recently, the weather cooperated wonderfully with blue skies, bright sun, and a tolerable 54 degrees.

With my family and Wicked Island Bakery lunch “boxes” (a must for Daffy in my opinion!), we all left town feeling excited to continue celebrating in Sconset amongst beautifully decorated antique cars, impressive food spreads, and fellow Nantucket lovers happily welcoming the Spring season!

If you weren’t able to come see us, please stop by anytime. And if you are interested in owning a beautiful Nantucket home that would put you in thick of the action in town or in Sconset, we can help with that!
